Meet Emily
I enjoy working with couples, families, and individuals and find
passion in providing support, fostering individual empowerment, and
improving quality of life with my clients. I have experience working
as an intensive in-home counselor providing crisis support and
stabilization within the home and community. Most recently, I have
been working as an outpatient therapist providing therapeutic services
to adolescents, teens, adults, families and couples. I have experience
with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, post traumatic
stress disorder, mood and adjustment disorders, and relationship
challenges/life transitions.
My approach
I utilize trauma-informed CBT and DBT primarily but remain holistic in
my approach based on individual needs. I remain person-centered and
believe in collaborative approaches with clients to include mutual
goal setting and treatment planning.
What can you expect?
I aim to create a safe, comforting space for my clients where they can
learn more about themselves. My goal is always for clients to leave
feeling as if they have developed greater self-awareness, gained
feelings of hope and empowerment, and feel strong in knowing
how they can cope or address symptoms independently.
